“These are the days of our lives”… these words taken from the lyric of one of the most famous song by “the Queen” seem to be perfect to describe the situation right now in the Dolomites!
Dolomites are the most known mountains in Veneto Region (where Treviso is), and Cortina d’Ampezzo is the well known city of that fantastic area and -on these days – Dolomites & Cortina are on everybody’s mouth for different reasons.
Honestly, it’s hard to decide which is the most important one… we try to put the thing in order, but in any case, let us know which could be the properest order in your opinion ….
So, we try to di this list:
First: on June 26th (less than 6 months to Christmas …. yes, you are right… Santa is coming in a very shot time) it’s the 10th anniversary the Dolomites (and the 3 peaks of Lavaredo) are part of the UNESCO heritage… oh, WOW! We are so proud of it!
Second: on June 24th the committee for Winter Olympic Games awarded Milano-Cortina for year 2026! Such a great honor!
Mountains are all year long a very good choice for just an escape, a break, a weekend, a short vacation, a long holiday… no matter if you want to ski in the winter, if you want to cool down during the hot summer, if you want to use the ski lift or just a stroll with posh window shopping, if you want to enjoy the set of many different international movies and musical videos or just o breath the spirit of the great painter Tiziano Vecellio (Titian), or if you want…. tell us which could be your best option!
