Us neither! but we are sure the 99% of our readers knows the word “Tiramisu”, but how many of you knows that it is an Italian cake? And how many of you knows which Italian city does it exactly come from?

We are here to confirm that Tiramisu is an Italian cake (yes!) but above all we are proud to tell you that Tiramisu is coming from Treviso (yes, yes!!) !!

Many Italian regions and many Italian cities are trying to get the authorship of the recipe, but we – as people of Treviso – we can assure you that the original recipe with proper ingredients, is dated back in the 60’s , exactly in an historical restaurant of Treviso city.

Nowadays, you can find the Tiramisù [in Italian is written with the accent on the last letter 🙂 ] pretty everywhere, not only in Treviso but all around the world, from Australia to West Coast US, from Great Britain to India, from NYC to Manila.
